Adult computer classes offered in January at Monroe Free Library

Monroe - Monroe Free Library is sponsoring a series of free introductory computer classes in January intended for people looking to learn several different activities involving computers and the Internet. Classes are an hour long, may be “hands-on” or may be in a question and answer format and require a $5 deposit (returned at class time). • E-mail I: Monday, Jan. 14, 11 a.m. Sure, e-mail is fast and cheap, but where do you start? We’ll show you. • Basic Internet, Thursday, Jan. 17, 7 p.m., and Monday, Jan. 25, 2 p.m. A discussion of Web basics, including searching and navigation skills. • PC Basics, Friday, Jan. 18, 2 p.m. Learn the fundamentals of a personal computer. • Bidding and buying on eBay, Saturday, Jan. 19, 11 a.m. For beginning bidders who are interested to look into the Internet’s premier auction house, but want to do it safely.
