Adult computer classes offered in January at Monroe Free Library
Monroe - Monroe Free Library is sponsoring a series of free introductory computer classes in January intended for people looking to learn several different activities involving computers and the Internet. Classes are an hour long, may be “hands-on” or may be in a question and answer format and require a $5 deposit (returned at class time). E-mail I: Monday, Jan. 14, 11 a.m. Sure, e-mail is fast and cheap, but where do you start? We’ll show you. Basic Internet, Thursday, Jan. 17, 7 p.m., and Monday, Jan. 25, 2 p.m. A discussion of Web basics, including searching and navigation skills. PC Basics, Friday, Jan. 18, 2 p.m. Learn the fundamentals of a personal computer. Bidding and buying on eBay, Saturday, Jan. 19, 11 a.m. For beginning bidders who are interested to look into the Internet’s premier auction house, but want to do it safely. All classes are held at the Monroe Free Library, at 44 Millpond Parkway in Monroe. Call the library at 783 4411 for more information.
