A Greener Tomorrow' starts April 26 at the library

Warwick - Albert Wisner Public Library will present an Earth Day program, “A Greener Tomorrow,” on Saturday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., featuring Patrick Gallagher of Gallagher Solar and Warwick Valley High School science teacher Ed Sattler. The program explores how even small lifestyle changes can make a big difference for tomorrow’s world. The topics include solar thermal hot water systems, renewable electricity providers, transportation alternatives, geothermal opportunities, home winterization and the selection and performance of compact fluorescent bulbs. Gallagher also will demonstrate a working model of a solar thermal system. The program is free and open to residents of the Warwick Valley School District.
