‘A Class Act: Tuscany' opens Aug. 17

Artists from Florida, Ireland, New York City and locally will come together for a celebration of their work Sunday, Aug. 17, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in “A Class Act: Tuscany.” The group painted and toured this region of Italy this past May with tutor Gayle Clark Fedigan. Local artists include Sandy Brandman, Carol and Elizabeth Muise, Lily Norton, Cathy Prager, Elaine Ralston, Ann Marie Silvani and Robert Trondsen. The exhibit runs through Sept. 30 at the Desmond Campus of Mount St. Mary College, 6 Albany Post Road in Newburgh. Weekday hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 565-2076.
