‘A Christmas Carol' comes to Sugar Loaf

Sugar Loaf —Just as discovering the spirit of Christmas changed the life of irascible Ebenezer Scrooge, treating your family to the theatrical magic of “A Christmas Carol” leads to a kaleidoscope of discoveries about the joyful spirit of the holiday season. The Kings Theatre Company is presenting the Nebraska Theatre Caravan’s production of this holiday classic at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Lycian Centre for the Performing Arts in Sugar Loaf. The production is packed with laughter, pageantry and costumes. Every memorable detail of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” springs to life, from spine-chilling ghosts to heartfelt renditions of traditional British carols. Crotchety Scrooge, lovable Tiny Tim, and all the fascinating characters that audiences have come to love make Charles Dickens’ enchanting story a treasured holiday event.
