5K Turkey Trot coming to Goshen

Goshen — Now that the kids are back in school and all the trick or treats have been doled out, it's time to start thinking turkey — Turkey Trot, that is, for all you avid runners. Join the fun at the Goshen Recreation Commission's annual 5K Turkey Trot Fun Run and 1K Tot Trot for Children at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, at Craigville Park in Goshen. Registration fees are as follows: Adults 5K — $20 Students 5K (ages 13-18) — $10 Kids 1K Tot Trot (ages 3-12) — $7 Adult 5K late registration (after Nov. 12) _ $35 Early bird registrants receive a long-sleeved tee shirt. The day also includes a "Chicken Chuck" at the park, which will raise funds for the Goshen Ecumenical Food Pantry. "Please bring a few bucks for a few chucks and help us help those in need this holiday season," the commission says. The furthest chuck wins a prize.
