The Historical Society of Newburgh Bay and the Highlands will hold its annual candlelight tour on Sunday, Dec. 11, from noon to 5 p.m. The tour begins at the Captain David Crawford House, 189 Montgomery St., Newburgh. This opulent 1834 home, located in the heart of New York State’s largest upstate Historic District, will be decorated inside and out as it would have been in 1840. The self-guided tour features at least one dozen decorated homes of several periods. Tickets are $25 at the Crawford House on the day of the event or in advance for a $20 donation.
