Orange County Executive, Steve Neuhaus launched an initiative to give thanks to the people who continue to work on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic and bring some holiday joy to the county’s nursing home residents and those who are in the hospital over the holidays. As part of “Orange Cares,” Neuhaus asked residents to write letters of appreciation to the county’s doctors, nurses, first responders, medical administrative staff and those in nursing homes or hospitals during this holiday season. Preschool Solutions students and staff participated in this initiative. The students decorated cards for residents and staff of nursing homes, first responders and healthcare workers. Laura Stubecki, owner and director of Preschool Solutions, loved the idea of the Orange Cares program and thought it was a wonderful way to remind people how important they are to our community.
