Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry 2019 Summer Program for Children

Dear Pantry Supporter:
Please help us make this summer a little nicer for needy families and their children.
Each summer, from mid-June through mid-September, in addition to its regular service, the pantry provides to families of school age children pre-filled bags of kid-friendly food.
We do this in recognition of extra need during summer vacation: school breakfast and lunch programs, as well as Backpack Snack Attack, are not available.
Hunger, however, especially for children, does not take a vacation.
(Inluded with this letter to the editor) is a list of the groceries we need to fill one bag.
Please purchase enough groceries to fill as many bags as your pocketbook and heart allow.
Or purchase a portion of a bag.
Or contribute ShopRite or Price Chopper gift cards (sometimes the Food Bank, where prices are way low, is short and we shop locally).
If more convenient, a check mailed to the Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry, Attention: Summer Program, or a donation made at our website www.warwickpantry.com, will be welcome.
