Thanks to the 'Wawayanders'

I wanted to thank the dedicated volunteers known as the “Wawayanders” who worked diligently this spring to remove snags and obstacles that now allow a rather leisurely kayak trip from Wickham Lake to Memorial Park in the Village of Warwick.
This was not an easy job, but under the leadership of Councilman Russ Kowal and Sustainable Warwick Chair Geoff Howard the job was done safely and efficiently.
Thank you all.
Please be aware if you take the trip to respect both this pristine environment and the private property owners along the way.
