‘Good government depends upon the participation of folks from all walks and stations in life’

I urge voters in the Village of Warwick to vote for Corey Bachman in the 9/15 elections. Corey will bring the eye of a younger generation with the corresponding energy to responding to villagers’ needs.

Corey has attended Village Board meetings, has canvassed door to door pre-quarantine, has volunteered and subsequently been elected to the Boards of the Historical Society and the Lions Club.

Corey also participates in the Adopt a Senior program, where he sees firsthand the needs of some of the more vulnerable members of our community.

Corey has invested the time and effort to learn about Village infrastructure and budgets; he brings the same interest in how things work to familiarizing himself with NYS’s guidelines and enabling laws.

Corey realizes that it is not possible for a municipality to unilaterally “defund” the stipend and benefits that accrue to elected and appointed officials. Such unconsidered “defunding” would effectively disenfranchise the average person from participating in municipal government.

Good government depends upon the participation of folks from all walks and stations in life.
