The Warwick Food Truck Festival’s annual winter event, “Trucks N Trees,” will take place at St. Stephen the First Martyr Church on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This year’s winter festival will be a “grab n go” event. All items can be ordered and purchased online for pickup at the event. This includes food, desserts, beverages and Christmas trees.
Now in its fourth year, the event will showcase local food truck fare, desserts and craft beverages. Featured food trucks include The Bus, Empanada Master, Potenza Old World Pizza and Smokin Grate BBQ. Gourmet baked goods will be offered by Crumm Cake Cupcakes and Parked Prosecco is bringing their signature holiday cocktail kits.
The vendors will offer online menus so that patrons can pre-order their food and drinks for easy pickup.
Balsam, Douglas and Fraser Fir trees will be sold for $50 each and may be ordered through the event’s Facebook page @WarwickFoodTruckFestival.
All proceeds will benefit Warwick Valley Knights Of Columbus Council 4952 and St. Stephen Church.
COVID guidelines and recommendations will be carefully observed, and masks and social distancing will be required. To assure compliance with New York State’s regulation of large gatherings, “grab n go” service is being offered.
“Our community’s health and safety are our top priority as we plan for this year’s Trucks N Trees,” event organizer Tracy Gregoire said. “With our online ordering options available for your food, desserts, beverages and even your Christmas tree, you can pick up a festive and delicious decorating party to go all in one place!”
Toy drive, food drive, too
In this season of giving, patrons are encouraged to bring a toy for the Knights of Columbus’ annual toy drive or a non-perishable item for the Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry.
General admission is free. The event is held snow or shine at St. Stephen Church in Warwick. For more information visit Facebook @WarwickFoodTruckFestival.
