Warwick. Warwick Valley High School-Athlete of the week: Kadence Schluter

Senior Kadence Schluter has been selected as this week’s Warwick Valley High School Student–Athlete of the Week under the origram sponsored by the Bill Garcia Allstate Insurance Agency.

Kadence will attend Russell Sage College in upstate Troy in the fall where she will major in criminal justice and play softball for the Gators of the Empire 8 NCAA Conference.

Kadence is a three-year varsity softball player and one of the area’s top pitchers. She has qualified for the honor roll and recognized as a Scholar–Athlete for softball by the NYSPHSAA.

She was a key contributor as a pitcher to the Wildcats’ Section IX Softball Title in 2019.

Kadence is the daughter of Jaime and Robert Schluter of Warwick. Her brothers Robert and Hunter both attend the Warwick Valley School District.
