The Highlander Rugby team is pleased to announce that three players, including one from Warwick, have been recognized for honors by Rugby New Jersey.

Tight-head prop Jacob Brennan and Flanker Will Reich both made the NJ All Star U16 team and played with that side against teams from New York, Pennsylvania and Colorado.

Highlander Captain and Warwick Valley High School rising senior Colm Davidson was selected to the D2 NJ All State team as starting Fly Half.

"I'm very proud of the boys, they put in a lot of hard work this year and I'm glad to see them recognized," said Coach Ryan Copping. "It's a great foundation on which to build for next year's season."

Highlander Rugby is rugby team for high-school boys that competes in the 2nd Division of Rugby NJ. They are based in West Milford, N.J., but accept players from both New York and New Jersey, and play Spring 15s and Summer 7s.
