Warwick Valley High School is proud to recognize senior Nicole Rice as this week's Bill Garcia Agency Allstate Student–Athlete of the Week.

Nicole is a four-year member of the Varsity Competition and Spirit Cheer Teams and a two-year lacrosse athlete.

Nicole plays a key role in Cheer Team's stunting, serving as a base for many of the complex throws and catches.

Warwick Cheer will compete at the M-W Invitational this weekend and then travel to Highland prior the Section IX Cheer Championships on Feb. 22.

Nicole is an excellent student, maintaining a 90.1 cumulative grade point average. Her classes include an honors English curriculum and Advanced Placement course in World History for college credit.

Nicole is the editor for the yearbook and journalism class.

Her senior project this spring will be based on controlling traumatic bleeding.

Nicole plans to study nursing and has been accepted to Mt. St. Mary’s, Pace University, Adelphi and Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Nicole is the daughter of Alice and Tim Rice of Warwick. Her brother Joe is 2015 Warwick graduate and continued his education at Salisbury State in Maryland.
