Michael Moore is the Allstate Student-Athlete of the Week

Warwick Valley High School is proud to select senior Michael Moore as this week’s Bill Garcia Allstate Student-Athlete of the Week.

Michael has played varsity football and is a five-year track athlete (Indoor and Outdoor Track). He recently won the division title in the long jump with a jump of 20’6”.

He also is a member of the indoor track 4 X 400 meter relay team (Moore, Michelini, Emmerich and Bekele–Arcuri) that won the 2020 county title at West Point last weekend.

Michael is a top student and carries a weighted academic average of 98.7. He takes a challenging course load that includes advanced placement courses for college credit in Psychology, Biology, Literature and Government. He also is enrolled in the Orange County Community College Calculus course.

Michael is a member of the National Honor Society and is an Eagle Scout. He received a Presidential Scholar Nominee and earned a perfect score of 1600 on the SAT exam.

Michael’s plans include medical school and pursuing the ivy league for his undergraduate studies.

Michael is the son of Melvin and Helen Moore of Warwick.
