Christopher Malota named Warwick Valley High School Allstate Student-Athlete of the Week WARWICK. The two-time All-Section lacrosse player will attend SUNY Cortland this fall.

Christopher Malota, who just graduated from Warwick Valley High School, is this week’s Bill Garcia Agency Allstate Student-Athlete of the Week.
Malota, a lacrosse standout, was a key contributor for the Warwick Boys Lacrosse Section IX Championship. He scored more than 100 goals in his career and selected a two-time All-Section lacrosse player by the Section IX coaches.
Malota graduated with a high academic index and took challenging coursework in preparation for college. He is a two year NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete for lacrosse maintaining an in-season average above 90.
This fall, Malota will attend SUNY Cortland where he will play lacrosse for the Division III school and major in education and business.
Malota is the son of Joy and Robert Malota of Warwick. His two brothers David and Ryan were outstanding Wildcats. Sisters Stephanie and Jessica are outstanding students-athletes within the district.
