Warwick Town Councilman Russell Kowal announced this week that the Town of Warwick will hold an open house at the former site of the Kutz Camp at 46 Bowen Road on Saturday, Sept. 26, from noon to 4 p.m.

Masks and social distancing rules will be in effect. There are no public restrooms available.

Before it closed last year and for more than half a century, the camp provided summers of fun for campers at the lakeside retreat. Earlier this year, the Town of Warwick agreed to pay $6.4 million to acquire the 85-acre property under its Community Preservation Plan.

The property consists of a lake, pools, tennis courts, outdoor and indoor spaces, cabins, a waste water system, wells and a trail system.
