Warwick. Sweet treats

| 26 Apr 2021 | 12:57

Meals on Wheels of Warwick recipients received extra treats this week with their meal deliveries.

Girl Scout Unit 229 in the Village of Florida donated 40 boxes of Girl Scout cookies, along with handwritten cards from the Girl Scouts.

Meals on Wheels of Warwick also received a donation of roses from the Warwick Valley Rotary Club, who wanted to honor women, first responders and veterans for being valuable members of the Warwick community.

Roses were included in several deliveries to clients and given to Meals on Wheels drivers and a meal packer.

The Rotary Club also donated a pack of 50 masks, which Meals on Wheels of Warwick volunteers can use for their operations this spring.

Meals on Wheels of Warwick delivers meals to those in the community who are temporarily or permanently unable to cook for themselves.
