The Warwick Police Department held a car seat safety check event on Oct. 24 at the ShopRite Shopping Center on Route 94 South in Warwick.
Certified car seat safety technicians were on hand to educate and assist parents and caregivers with the proper installation of car seat.
Warwick Police Officer Stephan Helmrich, who organized the event, thanked ShopRitefor providing the space in its parking lost as well as for providing snacks and drinks to the public and officers at the event.
