Fysioplus on Demand, an in-home physical therapy and personal training service, is now available in Warwick.
On Thursday, Sept. 3, members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined Dr. Manuel A. Arruffat, his family and associates to celebrate the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony outside the Chamber “Caboose” on South Street.
Arruffat has more than 12 years experience as a physical therapist. He is certified to provide FMT (functional movement), musculoskeletal ultrasound, cupping and a European therapy technique named myofascial fibrolisis.
“I can bring quality physical therapy and/or personal training to clients’ homes,” said Arruffat. “I know working at home makes it difficult to visit a clinic or a gym. Let me bring my skills to your door.”
Arruffat earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Dominican College, where he also earned his Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy. And he has served in hospitals, nursing homes and clinics as well as home care. He is also fluent in Spanish.
Arruffat and his wife, Edith, and their two sons live in Warwick.
