The Greenwood Lake Police Department and the Greenwood Lake Food Pantry, located at the Holy Rosary Church, have reached an agreement whereby the lobby of the police department, located at 16 Church St., will be a drop-off location for food pantry donations.

“Every Saturday during business hours an officer will drop off the donations to the pantry to be distributed,” Lt. Adam Eirand said in the police department’s press release announcing the arrangement. “Utilizing the location at the Village Police Department will assure donations dropped off in the donation box will not be exposed to the elements when the pantry is not in operation.”

The pantry is always in need of unopened non-perishable canned and boxed goods, hygiene products, feminine hygiene products, size 1 and 2 diapers and baby wipes.
