Have you been thinking about giving your child a Jewish education but think it’s too late? Are you seeking safe, fun programs that are easy to administer and will help to enrich your child’s understanding of Jewish culture?

Temple Beth Shalom in the Village of Florida is offering a Hebrew Summer Splash program that will jump start your child into Jewish learning. Successful completion of Hebrew Summer Splash will enable children to join the second level of Hebrew school in the fall.

These introductory classes, which will start on July 13 and run until Aug. 27, will be held virtually twice per week, Mondays and Thursdays, at 4:30 to 5:15 p.m., with 15 minutes afterwards devoted to fun.

Lessons will be formulated to give each child the education they need while making friends and gaining an understanding of their rich heritage through song, games and other fun activities.

Temple Beth Shalom is an inclusive Reform Jewish congregation welcoming all - Jewish and interfaith families – and providing a religious “home” for worship, education and fellowship, even and especially in these challenging times.

“Our aim is to share and perpetuate Jewish culture, heritage and traditions in an atmosphere of love for God and for our fellow man,” said Temple Beth Shalom Rabbi Rebecca Shinder. “We are a very inclusive temple and welcome all Jewish families, whether they are comprised of Jews by birth, Interfaith, Biracial or same sex couples, or Jews by choice.”
