As Warwick’s week long Operation Clean Sweep comes to an end, Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce invites all to the South St. Chase Lot for the Earth Day Specialty Programs from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., rain or shine. Courtesy of The Warwick Lions Club, there will be paper shredding with a $7 suggested donation per box, sneaker and rubber cleats collection, and eye glass and hearing aid collection.

Additionally, cell phone collection, courtesy of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and unused prescription drop off, courtesy of Warwick Valley Prevention Coalition and Warwick Police Department will go on as well.

Recycling opportunities, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., include Leo Kaytes collecting motor oil at 145 route 94 South and the Computer Guy offering electronic recycling (no T.V.’s) at 2 Overlook Drive. To everyone who participated in cleaning up their neighborhoods this week, the Chamber thanks you.
