GOSHEN — Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus participated in a ceremonial ribbon-cutting with County Clerk Annie Rabbitt on Thursday to celebrate the grand re-opening of the County’s Department of Motor Vehicles office at the Government Center.
The office has been closed since 2011.
The Goshen DMV can be found on the first floor of the Government Center, located at 255 Main St.
The county will continue to operate DMV offices in Middletown, Newburgh and Port Jervis.
All services are available at the Goshen DMV, including CDL permits, Enhanced Driver’s/Real I.D. Licenses, non-driver Identification cards, and Enforcement transactions.
The office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and can be contacted at 615-3961.
“County Government is now fully back in business in Goshen,” Neuhaus said. “It’s been a long road to returning government to the County Seat and I’m glad we’re finally here.”
