Correction

The Coffee & Conversations series with Dr. Lisamarie Spindler, the Florida School District’s new superintendent, will continue on Thursday, Aug. 24, from 5 to 6 p.m., in the S.S. Seward Institute cafetorium.

A story in last week’s Warwick Advertiser gave an incorrect date for the event. We regret the error and the confusion is caused.

Members of the community are invited to meet the new superintendent, who began working in Florida on July 1.

The informal meetings allow the superintendent to gather feedback and thoughts on what is most important: students’ education and wellbeing.

It will also serve as a chance for the superintendent to meet the families and community members of the district.
