In its Franklin Lakes, N.J., location, Café e Dolci has a reputation for offering a unique blend of Italian cuisine, including a variety of homemade items like artisan gelato, sweet and savory crepes, edible cookie dough and more.
On Saturday, Aug. 15, Town of Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton, Mayor Michael Newhard and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined owners Debbie and Keith Yodice, family members and staff, to celebrate the grand opening of their second location at 31 Main St., the former location of Ye Olde Warwick Book Shoppe.
The new shop, with COVID- sensitive seating for 40, offers more than 30 crepes, homemade soups and quiches along with lilly coffee, one of the top brews served in Europe.
Café e Dolci also serves pastries by Jean-Claude, a favorite Warwick baker, as well as imported beignets and macaroons.
And, as a tribute to the former Ye Olde Warwick Book Shoppe, the café also offers a take a book and bring a book exchange along with free Wi-Fi and a charging station at every table.
“People saw a book store and we saw a café,” said Debbie Yodice, who runs the Franklin, N.J., café and also creates the soup recipes.
Her son Michael will manage the Warwick location which has 16 employees, all local residents.
Café e Dolci is open seven days a week: Sunday to Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
