Free Electric Vehicle Summit to inform business owners and officials

Central Hudson is holding its Electric Vehicle Summit from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 2001 Route 9W in Lake Katrine. The summit will provide information on the types of electric vehicles available, financial incentives and programs, New York State goals for electric vehicles and carbon reduction, and charging options and infrastructure. The summit is intended for municipal and county officials and businesses of all sizes. The presenters will include representatives from Central Hudson, the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, the New York Power Authority, ChargePoint, BYD, Drive Electric Hudson Valley, and Ulster County.
