Paul A. Hybbeneth

Paul A. Hybbeneth of Pine Island (formerly of Warwick) passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2020. He was 51 years old.

He was born in the Bronx to Paul and Charlene (Scherer) Hybbeneth on Jan. 24, 1970.

Paul joined the U.S. Navy after Warwick Valley High School. He proudly served his country for four years.

Paul was self-employed as a painter, with his company Paul Hybbeneth Painting.

His family's statement reads: “Paul loved his work. When not working, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball and watching movies. He loved to cook, especially for his kids. He was a great father.”

Paul is survived by his son Paul of Monroe; daughter Rebecca of Minisink; father Paul of Jacksonville, Fla.; and brothers Greg of Chicago, Ill., and Steve of Jacksonville, Fla.

He was predeceased by his mother.

Memorial visitation was held March 18 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.

Interment was held March 19 at Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen.
