Heather J. Bechtel of New Windsor passed away on Friday, Dec. 25, 2020, at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. She was 30 years old.
Daughter of Julia Torpey DeFeo, Heather was born on Aug. 12, 1990, in Goshen.
Survivors include her daughters, Bella and Emma Iskra at home; sisters Jessica Coyle and her husband Brendan of Chula Vista, California and Sarah Nodhturft of West Palm Beach, Florida; and grandmother Johanna Torpey.
In addition to her mother, Heather was predeceased by her grandfather Ronald Torpey Sr.
Visitation will be private and at the convenience of the family. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
