Catharn "Kay" Jane (Brinley) Fauerbach of Warwick entered peacefully into rest on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. She was 94.

The daughter of Frederick and Florence (Shields) Brinley, she was born in Passaic N.J., June 9, 1925.

Content in her work, Kay was employed by International Paper Co. for many years as an HR assistant and prior to that as an Assistant Manager/Buyer for Sterling Forest Gardens.

In her retirement years she thoroughly enjoyed working at Jockey Hollow as a Garden Center Associate.

As many people she met along the way during her life's journey would attest, to know her was to love her. She greatly enjoyed reading, engaging in long conversations and was captivated with learning new things. She never missed a teaching opportunity with a gentleness and subtlety that will be greatly missed.

Known to many as "Aunt Kay" she leaves a legacy of kindness, compassion and patience.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lothar Peter Fauerbach, on July 10, 1984. They married on May 24th, 1946. They built a log cabin home, Drei Madelhaus in Forest Knolls, Greenwood Lake, where they raised their family.

Kay is survived by her three daughters: Linda Kuebler of North Plainfield, N.J., Arlene Fauerbach of Greenwood Lake and Carol Forshay of Branchville, N.J. Her beloved grandchildren: Scott Kuebler, Kristina McGeehan, Nicolle Lundell, Jonathan Warter, Matthew and David Raif, along with each of their significant others who all adored her. She leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by seven brothers and sisters, Walter, Fredrick, William, Florence, John Edgar, Margaret and Harold. She is survived by her treasured friend Louise and predeceased by Peggy.

A celebration of life will be held on a future date.
