Warwick. Warwick resident and bestselling author appears on national TV to introduce new book

Warwick resident and New York Times bestselling author Jim DeFelice, who wrote the book that brought “American Sniper” to the screen, recently appeared on Fox TV to introduce his latest book, “Whatever it Took.”

The television appearance was during the 75th anniversary of VE-Day, the surrender of Germany in World War II.

DeFelice co-authored “Whatever it Took.” with Henry Langrehr, who served in Europe in World War II with the 82nd Airborne Division.

During the Allied Invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944, Langrehr was among the thousands of troops who parachuted into France and survived enemy fire but was later captured by the Germans. .

DeFelice is the author of numerous books, both fiction and non-fiction, including many best sellers.
