Warwick Valley Gardeners to host programs in October and November

| 30 Sep 2019 | 04:49

Warwick Valley Gardeners announce two public meetings, one in October and one in November.

They are free of charge, fun, informative and no reservation is necessary.

On Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m., “Habitats for Native Pollinators - A Hands-on Workshop.”

Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners Bernice Mulch and Bruce Rennie will help us make habitats for our gardens. Bring your own clippers.

To add to the fun, this pollinator habitat will be auctioned off.

On Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m., “Pruning Shrubs,” by Master Gardener Kate Honders.

Avoid torturing and misshaping your plants. So simple and straight-forward when you know how.

Both public meetings are held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 95 Kings Highway in Warwick.

Public meetings are part of the group's community outreach program and sponsored by the Warwick Valley Gardeners several times per year.
