Warwick. The 90-voice Warwick Valley Chorale will offer three performances of its 79th annual winter concerts.

The concerts, led by conductor Stanley Curtis and accompanied by Gail Johnson, will be highlighted by a cantata, "A Christmas Celebration," by contemporary California composer Henry Mollicone. The cantata is an eight-movement work combining narration and singing with texts taken from the Bible and poetry from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Composer Mollicone will appear as guest conductor of his work for the final concert in Warwick. Also featured on the program will be arrangements of four Christmas gospels, a 12-selection medley of seasonal favorites and traditional carols.

The concerts will be presented at Grace Episcopal Church, 58 North St., Middletown, at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6; Goshen United Methodist Church, 115 Main St., Goshen, at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13; and St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick, at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15.

Admission is free; donations will be gratefully accepted.
