Warwick. Friends of the Library enjoy annual bridge luncheon

All the scheduled games enjoyed by the Warwick Friends of the Library Ladies Bridge Club were not played this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nevertheless, on Wednesday, Aug. 19, the annual bridge luncheon, this year a high tea, was held at the Warwick Valley Country Club’s outdoor patio.

In the past 20 years this group of bridge players donated the proceeds of approximately $1,500 to the Albert Wisner Library.

Entrants pay $20 yearly and follow a schedule from August to July where hands of bridge are played and the games are hosted by the players at their home or club house.

There is also a Couples Group who contribute to the library.

And when things are back to normal they will be looking for new members. For additional information contact Marilyn Bryan at 845-987-8313.
