Tom Gardner, singer-songwriter, will perform a fun mix of favorites from the 1970s that will bring back fond memories.
The free, family-friendly program will be held from 2 to 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12, in the Community Room of the Goshen Public Library at 366 Main St., Goshen.
Gardner has been performing for several decades, winning multiple parenting awards for his work as a family performer with The Uncle Brothers. He has performed in schools across the United States as well as Australia.
Gardner has been performing music for children and families solo and with the late Danny Quinn for many years as The Uncle Brothers and has collectively 10 award winning family CDs. He also performs as a solo, duo, or trio with Axel Belohoubek, Barry Wiesenfeld, and many other amazing talents in the northeast. His passion for entertaining shows up with these lively, fun, and highly entertaining shows with a mix of Irish, classic rock, oldies, originals, and pub favorites.
His influences include Cat Stevens, Jimmy Buffett, Billy Joel, Brian Setzer, Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Tom Chapin, Harry Chapin, and Danny Quinn.
