Newburgh. West Point’s military history comes alive through Oct. 13 at SUNY Orange

“Images of West Point” is showing at SUNY Orange in Newburgh through Friday, Oct. 13. This includes a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 24.

Attendees will learn about West Point’s role in military history through photographs, paintings, engravings, copies, maps and collectibles. From its role as Fortress West Point during the American Revolution to its standing today, West Point’s role in world affairs is undeniable.

The Mindy Ross Gallery inside SUNY Orange’s Kaplan Hall is located at the corner of Grand and First streets in Newburgh. For GPS, use 73 First St. in Newburgh, where free parking is available in the college garage.
