Greenwood Lake Public Library’s Art Gallery presents the work of graphic and ink artist Bruce Young for the month of September.

Young’s black and white work was displayed at the gallery last June 2018. This exhibit will feature his work in color.

A longtime New Jersey resident, Young attended the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art in the late sixties, concentrating on painting the human form in oils.

For the past 15 years, he has been concentrating on pen and ink drawings of architecture. Most recently, his focus has been directed to scenes of New York City, which he feels is “an endless source of vibrant subject matter.”

He also works in pastel, graphite, oils and watercolor as well as airbrush art. His work may be found at the Skylands Gallery in Wantage, N.J.

The library is located at 79 Waterstone Road in the Village of Greenwood Lake. For information, call (845) 477-8377 ext. 104.
