Florida Historical Society cancels this weekend's Christmas photo event

The Florida Historical Society issued the following announcement this week: The Christmas photo event has been cancelled due to bad weather and difficult parking conditions.

"We regret that we have decided to cancel this event due to the large amount of snow at the Green Family Home and the bad forecast for the next week and weekend.

"The parking is on the grounds of the Green Home and is covered with a great deal of snow and ice The forecast predicts more snow this week and heavy rain next weekend and, because we are concerned with the safety of the people who would attend this event, the Florida Historical Society has decided to cancel it."
