‘A Christmas Carol’ Coming to the Old School Baptist Meeting House

The Greenwood Lake Theater Company and the Warwick Historical Society are partnering to present the Charles Dickens holiday classic, “A Christmas Carol” on Saturday, Dec. 7 and on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m. in the Old School Baptist Meeting House, located on High Street in Warwick.

This kid-friendly version of the classic is being performed at the historic church, preserved and maintained by the Historical Society and often used for community gatherings.

“A Christmas Carol” tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a greedy and selfish old man, and the transformation that occurs to him after he is visited by Christmas spirits. This is an abbreviated version, about 70 minutes long, and will not include an intermission.

Tickets for this special production are $25 per person, $20 per person age 18 and under, and are on sale now. First-come, first-served, no reserved seating. These performances are expected to sell out. Call 845-986-3236 to purchase tickets.
