WARWICK — National Poetry Month will be celebrated at the Amity Gallery on Saturday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m.

Participating will be six local Warwick Poets, namely: Harvey Greenwald, Howard Horowitz, Elaine Knight, Mary Makofske, Donna Spector and Lynn Youland.

Unusually, there will be five rounds, with each poet giving their take on specific topics, such as love, nature, travel, etc.

Admission is free. Refreshments will be available at intermission, after which each poet will have a few minutes to read a selection of their choice.

Everyone is invited to join us for a night of "Celebrating Poetry."

The Amity Gallery is located at 110 Newport Bridge Road in Warwick.

For more information, call 845 258-0818.
