Looking to get more involved in your community this year?

The Warwick Historical Society will be holding a Volunteer Recruitment Day on Thursday, Jan. 15 at the A.W. Buckbee Center at 2 Colonial Ave. in Warwick.

There will be two sessions: one at 2:30 p.m. and another at 6:30 p.m.

Refreshments will be served.

Looking to get your hands dirty? Our Archaeological Dig Team may be right up you alley.

Good with a needle and thread - you will want to meet our clothing and textile team.

Do you have a knack for party planning? Our hospitality and events committee is just right for you.

Did you know that volunteering can help reduce stress, combat depression, keep you mentally stimulated and provide a deeper sense of purpose? All these great benefits while meeting new people and benefiting your community.

The Society has a variety of volunteer opportunities available.

You can volunteer once or twice a year or every week.

Whatever fits your schedule.

Founded in 1906, the Warwick Historical Society’s mission has been to preserve and celebrate the vibrant history of the Town of Warwick and its people, and engage our communities through a variety of programs aimed at developing an understanding and appreciation of our unique historic heritage.
