TUXEDO — The next installment of the education series at Sterling Forest State Park takes place Saturday, Sept. 23, at 1:30 p.m.
What happens when you get lost in the woods?
How do you stay warm?
Where do you stay if you are not able to be rescued overnight?
How did Native Americans survive here without modern amenities?
Join the staff at the Sterling Forest Visitor Center where they will show you what to bring with you when hiking and what to do if you get lost.
This program is designed for ages 5-12, but all are welcome. Parental supervision is required.
Activities will be mostly outside so please dress accordingly.

The location is 116 Old Forge Road in Tuxedo. Park across the street in the primary parking lot.
