SUGAR LOAF — The fifth annual Sugar Loaf Holiday Celebration took place Saturday, Dec. 13.

The event was sponsored by the Sugar Loaf Community Foundation and made possible by donations from FABCO Power, the Chester ShopRite and Roe Orchards.

The Warwick Valley Chorale and the Warwick Valley Middle School provided entertainment while KV Carriage from Hackettstown, N.J., ferried carolers and others up and down Kings Highway.

Lydia Cuadros, president of the Community Foundation, also noted that "the Sugar Loaf Methodist Church partner(ed) with the foundation to present this magical celebration. We cannot forget to mention Santa, who makes the magic happen.

"The hard work and dedication of the foundation's members makes it become a reality," Cuadros added. "This is a wonderful family event and we look forward to continuing the tradition for years to come."
