Reinvented in the Wick celebrates grand opening

WARWICK — Longtime Warwick resident Terri Clarke started her lifelong career in sales as a representative for several paint lines in the automotive industry. And so it is fitting that she has come full circle selling Heirloom Traditions Paint line today.
On Friday, Sept. 30, Mayor Michael Newhard and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined Clarke and her friends to celebrate the grand opening of her new business, Reinvented in the Wick, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The idea for Reinvented in the Wick, a retail establishment located at 154 Route 94 South in Warwick, came about from Clarke's passion for painting and refinishing antique and vintage style furniture and decor to fit in with the current trends and lifestyles of today.
"It brings me great joy," she said, "going to flea markets, garage sales and auctions and finding that perfect size table, chair or hutch and reinventing it for today's style knowing it will be around for another 50 years"
Clarke reported that after years of experimenting with various brands and styles of paints, she decided that Heirloom Traditions Paint Company had the perfect paint line for her store.
"They have over 50 paint colors, 13 waxes, 20 staining gels, decoupage and transfer gel, fabric primer and a myriad of top coats to choose from," she said.
In addition to selling paint, furniture and decor, Clarke will also be offering workshops on how to use the paint, waxes and other products. The workshops will be scheduled through her Facebook page starting in the next week or two.
"I look forward to introducing you to these wonderful products," she said. "Please come in and see what we are all about and while you're here sign up for a workshop."
Clarke is a 27-year resident of the area and has been married to her childhood sweetheart, Thomas, for 32 years.
