William “Bill” Robert Wallace of Ogdensburg, N.J., passed away on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021. He was 78.
He was born on Aug. 17, 1942 in Paterson, N.J., to Marie (nee Tempe) and William A. Wallace.
Bill married Sandra (nee Coyle) in 1965 and resided in the Hewitt section of West Milford, N.J., where they raised their family.
Bill retired from Givaudan in East Hanover, N.J., after more than 30 years as a chemical operator.
In his spare time, Bill enjoyed riding horses, hot rod cars and watching old Westerns and movies.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sandra, in 2013; his dear son-in-law Glen Rusinack in 2020; and his brothers Hank and Donald.
Bill is survived by his loving children Catherine Rusinack, Tracie Slater and her husband Donald, William Wallace and his wife Christine, and James Wallace and his wife Jessica; his cherished grand daughters Sheena, Stephanie, Alexandra, Miranda, and Samantha; his seven adored great-grandchildren; and was the oldest of his ten dear siblings, Ellen, Karen, Teddy, Edward, Alice, Cheryl, Wayne and Gary.
The family received visitors on Jan. 31 at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, Newfoundland, N.J.
