    The Warwick Fire Department has responded to 175 calls for service since the first of January, according to the weekly activities report provided by Michael Contaxis, the 1st Assistant Chief as well as the department’s Fire Prevention chairman.

    • This past week the WFD responded to a house struck by lightning with the assistance of the Chester Fire Department. Upon arrival no damage was sustained to the residence and units cleared.

    • The Warwick Fire Department needs firefighters.

    You can also stop by any of our firehouses any evening to speak with a Fire Officer, especially Monday evenings at 7 p.m. or the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. stop at any firehouse to see any Fire Officer about joining.
