The following is the Warwick Fire Department’s call report for the week ending Sept. 23, provided by 2nd Assistant Chief Mike Contaxis:

Highlights

• The Warwick Fire Department has responded to 321 calls for service to date as of Monday morning, an increase of eight calls in the last week

• On Sept. 19 the Warwick Fire Department held its monthly Department Rope Rescue/FAST Team Drill at Warwick Station #4.

• On Sept. 21 the Warwick Fire Department held its Chiefs White Hat Party at the Brady Farm in honor of Chief Phil Cialella, who will end his term as Chief of the WFD at the end of the year. Thank you to Chief Cialella for all you have done and to the White Hat Committee for a memorable evening no one will forget.

• On Sunday, Sept. 22, the Warwick Fire Department hosted the 104th Annual Orange County Volunteer Firemen’s Association Flag Raising at the Warwick Firemen’s Monument at Memorial Park followed by a Memorial Service at Warwick Fire Station #1. We will always remember and never forget those lost over the past year who were members of this association.

• Warwick Fire Department 150th Anniversary Parade is this Saturday, Sept. 28; 1 p.m. line up and step off at 2 p.m.; also hosting the 104th Annual Orange County Volunteer Firemen’s Association Parade. We hope to see you all there.
