The following information comes the Warwick Fire Department’s weekly activity report distributed by Michael Contaxis, the department’s 1st Assistant Chief as well as its Fire Prevention chairman:
• The Warwick Fire Department has responded to 40 calls for service as Monday afternoon, Feb. 1..
• The Warwick Fire Department needs firefighters.
“Now more than ever,” Contaxis said, “our community needs our own people to continue to give back and you can do it by becoming a Warwick volunteer firefighter.”
• Do you want to be a firefighter? Do you want to join the Fire Police? Are you 16 years of age or older and want to give back with protecting your community? Then we want you!
Are you new to our community? Are you in high school or recently retired and want to help give back?
