Warwick. Warwick Community Ambulance responded to 127 calls in October

    The volunteers of Warwick Community Ambulance responded to 127 requests for assistance in October, including 21 instances of general illness, 16 motor vehicle incidents and three case where someone had overdosed.

    The effort required working 163 hours.

    Since the beginning of the year, Warwick Community Ambulance volunteers have responded to 1,279 calls requiring 1,604 hours of work.

    Here’s how the October numbers broke down:

    Falls: 24

    General illness: 21

    Difficulty breathing: 13

    Unresponsive: 10

    Cardiac: 7

    Pain: 7

    Overdose: 3

    Stroke: 3

    AirMed transport: 3
