    The volunteers of the Warwick Community Ambulance responded to 127 calls for assistance during May, including 31 cases of illness, 20 motor vehicle accidents and 13 cases where individuals were having difficulty breathing.

    The effort required 144 hours to accomplish.

    Since Jan. 1, the volunteers have responded to 624 calls, requiring working 795 hours.

    General illness: 31

    Falls: 27

    Motor vehicle incidents: 20

    Difficulty breathing: 13

    Unresponsive: 10

    Cardiac: 9

    Assault: 3

    Overdose: 3

    Pain: 3
